mesoxeric , thermophyle mostly nearby the nemoral thermophylic forests and in the nemoral forest-steppe areas

Central European-Pontic

Festucetalia valesiacae, Syringo-Carpinion orientalis, Prunion fruticosae

R34 and R35 habitats, but also R3122-3131 bushy mesoxeric thermophilic habitats

in Romania mostly in the southern and western regions, where average multiannual temperature exceeds 9 degr C.

 

 

 

 

 

This species is not so frequent in Romania as some manuals suggest but it is quite spread in the areas where the multiannual mean temperature exceeds 9 degrees C. The species is a thermophilic western Palearctic element, the subspecies is a Central European - Pontic one.
